Christina Peters
Owner + Speech-Language Pathologist
I hold a Master's degree in Speech Pathology from SUNY Fredonia and have been practicing as an SLP for almost 10 years, working across school districts, preschools, home health, and private practice with ages ranging from 15 months all the way up to 25 years old. I chose this career because I wanted to teach students in small groups or 1:1 settings while combining my creativity with my passion for science. Over the years, I've attended many conferences related to feeding and swallowing, executive functioning, speech sound disorders, and apraxia of speech. I used to specialize in AAC and could switch easily between Proloquo2Go, TouchChat, LAMP Words for Life, and Tobii Dynavox. I genuinely love working with a variety of populations—it keeps me busy and lets me test how flexible my brain is for different disorders.
My favorite local restaurant right now is Daniella's Steakhouse, and when it comes to coffee, I'll go anywhere that has an iced chai latte on the menu. In my free time, I enjoy watching too much TV, reading outside in my hammock, and creating things with my 3D printer. I have an almost 2-year-old Bernedoodle named Moose, who's basically a human in a large dog body and my best friend. A fun fact about me is that I played soccer in England my senior year of high school. As for entertainment, my favorite TV shows are anything reality on Netflix, and my favorite movie is the hockey film Miracle.
Sarah Watson
Speech-Language Pathologist
I earned my Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY, and have been practicing as a Speech-Language Pathologist for 8 years. Becoming a teacher was actually the plan when I was younger—as a kid, I transformed my living room into a pretend classroom and had my mom make 25 copies of worksheets for my imaginary students. Everything changed in college, though, when one required Communication Sciences and Disorders class made me instantly fall in love with the field of speech-language pathology instead. These days, I love working with students from preschool through 6th grade, since the variety keeps every day interesting and definitely keeps me on my toes. My professional interests include articulation and AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), and one of my long-term goals is to become an AAC specialist.
Outside of work, you'll usually find me adventuring with my fiancé, spending time with friends, reading a good book, watching new shows or movies, or traveling to my hometown to see my family. I don't have any pets yet, but I fully intend to make up for lost time someday with my dream trio: a Golden Retriever, a Labrador, and a Border Collie. Choosing a favorite restaurant is nearly impossible since I love so many spots, but if I had to narrow it down, I'd pick Second Chance Diner for brunch, Texas Roadhouse for dinner, and 7 Brew as my go-to coffee stop. Picking a favorite movie, book, or show is just as tough—I enjoy all kinds of books, but you'll often catch me rewatching The Office or guessing along with Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. And as a fun fact, I absolutely love collecting miniature items; tiny things just make me happy!
Erin Flynt
Speech-Language Pathologist
I received my Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The Pennsylvania State University in 2022, followed by my Master's in Speech Pathology from Misericordia in 2024, and I've been practicing as an SLP for a bit over 2 years post-graduation. I chose this career because I wanted something rewarding—I knew I wanted to help service and improve lives through functional communication every day. I've completed a LAMP (Language Acquisition through Motor Planning) conference and have a year of direct experience using AAC as a sole communication method, and my preferred areas of speech include expressive and receptive language. As for populations, I genuinely enjoy working with all ages, especially 3-5 year-olds, school-age students, and adults/geriatrics.
Since I'm new to the area, I don't have favorite local restaurants and coffee shops yet (recommendations are very welcome!), but I've tried Avicolli's Coal Fire Pizza, All Who Wander Pizza, and the Old Mill so far, and they've all been delicious—I'm looking forward to trying more. In my free time, I love being outside with my family and our dog, whether that's going for walks, visiting state parks, golfing, or just staying active, though I also enjoy relaxing at home with a good TV marathon. I have one dog, a black lab named Bentley, who's my favorite girl to hang out with. A fun fact about me is that I'm currently working on improving my gardening skills! I also just started reading again recently and am currently making my way through The Housemaid. Some of my favorite movies and shows include true crime documentaries, The Valley, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

I hold degrees in Teaching, specifically Elementary and Special Education, along with a Master's in Social Work, and I've spent over 15 years teaching and have held my social work master's for 15-plus years as well. I most enjoy working with children, and outside of work, I love spending time with my family, cooking, and watching documentaries.
